For southern rock band The Constellations, its debut record, Southern Gothic, has lifeted the eyelids, and stretched the ear lobes of many viewers and listeners lately. How can you go wrong with production from Ben H. Allen (Animal Collective, Gnarls Barkley) and a cameo by Cee-Lo. They’re aiming for the big leagues with beer and high energy in an attempt to bring us yet another tweeny bopper mainstream album for the masses. The prospects are even brighter for a band with a big old helping of hype.
